Mercury is one of the most dangerous global scale pollutants
that continues to receive much attention and be of great concern
in all countries.
The International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant
(ICMGP) has become the most important international forum
collecting together leading scientists, representatives of
governmental and non-governmental organizations for comprehensive
discussion of all the aspects of the mercury pollution problems.
Lumex Ltd. & OhioLumex Co., being a leading company in unique
instrumentation and application development for direct mercury
analysis, will participate in the conference and exhibition.
In the scientific program of the conference, our specialists
will present papers on recent results covering the following
topics:
- Direct Zeeman AAS determination of the mercury concentration
in natural hydrocarbon gases of complex composition
- New approach to design of mercury CEM systems
- Mercury in soils of metropolitan areas
- Variation of atmospheric mercury in Minamata area
